Leadership Identity and Building Trust in Institutions and Self – One Day with Professor Christine Nixon

We seem to be at a crossroad for our trust in systems of government, organisational reputation and leadership integrity. When people believe that institutions are acting fairly and in the public’s interest, it fosters a sense of community and collective responsibility; and of course trust is a critical component of effective leadership. It is the foundation upon which relationships are built, collaboration is fostered, and goals are achieved.

Christine Nixon is a true practitioner of building trust and community across diverse backdrops. In this workshop she will explore techniques for creating a coalition of support for the change work that needs to be done. She will use lessons from disasters, loss of institutional trust and other catastrophes and show how to build flourishing communities (internal and external) that create better outcomes.

Along the way you will explore how to influence to get things done, understand your leadership identity and how to be an authentic and present leader. The workshop will be practical and engaging for community, public and private sector leaders as well as teams developing their shared approaches to drive positive community outcomes.
